Scammers create websites that mimic the official UN Vacation Portal to steal personal information and money. Always verify you are on united.nationsportal.org.
Email Phishing
Phishing emails claiming to be from the UN requesting payment or personal details. Official UN emails end with @united.nationsportal.org only.
Phone Scams
Unsolicited calls claiming you have won a vacation benefit or need to pay fees to receive benefits. The UN does not make unsolicited calls.
Social Media Fraud
Fake social media accounts promoting UN vacation grants or compensation programs. The UN does not operate through social media DMs.
Payment Requests
Any request for credit card information, wire transfers, or gift card payments claiming to be from the UN is fraudulent.
Lottery / Prize Scams
